OUTDOOR MARQUEE POLICY
Section I
Official University Events
Official university arena events hosted by the Arkansas State University
Convocation Center, Athletic Department, and Fowler Center, can be scheduled on
the Marquee the day of the event and up to four days prior. Additional days must
be mutually beneficial to the sponsor and the Convocation Center, and will be
determined by the Director.
Section II
University Organizations
Sororities, Fraternities, Faculty, or Staff organizations will be allowed to use
the Marquee only in the event the Sorority, Fraternity, Faculty, or Staff
organization is having an official function scheduled in the Convocation Center
arena. Usage of the Marquee is limited to the day of the event and up to four
days prior. Additional days usage will be charged according to rates on the rate
schedule, and will be at the discretion of the Convocation Center.
Section III
Non-University
Non-University users of the Convocation Center can schedule use of the Marquee
only in the event the Non-University user is having an official function
scheduled in the Convocation Center arena. Usage of the Marquee is limited to
the day of the event and up to four days prior. Additional days usage will be
charged according to rates on the rate schedule, and will be at the discretion
of the Convocation Center.
Non-University users of the Fowler Center or other university facilities can
schedule use of the Marquee for the day of the event and up to four days prior;
rates will be charged according to rates on the rate schedule. All advertising
will be at the discretion of the Convocation Center.
Commercial users of the Marquee must not be of a competitive nature to a
permanent sponsor. In the event a competitive sponsor has an official function
scheduled at the Convocation Center, the day of the event and up to four days
prior will adhere.
Section IV
Meeting Room Clients
The above policy for usage of the Marquee applies to arena clients only. For
clients utilizing meeting room or other space and wishing to use the Marquee,
advertising will be charged according to rates on the rate schedule. All
advertising will be at the discretion of the Convocation Center.
Rate Schedule
Set-up Fee:
$50.00 - $75.00
Rental Rate:
$25.00 per day
